With more than 20 years of Clinic and Academic Experience in the Fields of Molecular BioEngineering and Laboratory Sciences, Also a Lab. Trainer at Kurdish Ministry of Health "MOH" Since 2013.

Prof. Salar has Obtained his Msc Degree in 2002 at Salahadin University, Erbil, Iraq, and Continued his Post Graduate Education at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece Obtaining his Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry.

His Research Contributions are highly notable in the College with Publications Published in the world-leading Journals and Impact Factor Holders across the Globe

Biochemical studies on blood coagulation mechanism - Effect of recombinant von willebrand factor-A1 domain on the process of hemostasis

 

  • Cloning, expression and purification of vWF A1 domain to identify the specific amino acid region of vWF that promotes optimal cofactor function in platelet aggregation and activation during the normal process of hemostasis.
  • Study of the potential function of purified vWF A1 domain in platelet activation and the natural process of hemostasis in order to fully understand its particular role in maintaining the integrity of the blood coagulation.
