Welcome to my Academic Profile page.

My name is Amer Ali Khaleel, and I am a lecturer at the Medical Microbiology Department, College of Health Sciences, Hawler Medical University. I am an immunologist and teach Medical Immunology.

I have interested to do research in my field of Medical Immunology and Molecular Immunology.

My teaching philosophy is to be passionate, enthusiastic, and engaging every time that I give a lecture so students are excited to learn more about the topic and become active learners. I don’t try to be my favorite teacher. Instead, I want to help the students to become self-sufficient, as scientists and physicians at the forefront of the field for the next half-century.

I have more many researches in local and international scientific journals.

Research Interests:

I will be excited to explore different research areas of immunology.

  • Immunology in understanding disease pathologies like rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes mellitus, and oncology.
  • Immune regulation is like understanding complexities of the signaling cascade in different immunological cells or lymphocytes.
  • Understanding basic immunological concepts which can be translated to bedsides.
  • Role of infection in Cancer.

Supervising Undergraduate:

I have supervised different research groups of undergraduate students.
