Murad Othman holds an MSc in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Gaziantep University, Turkey. He is currently a lecturer at the College of Nursing, Hawler Medical University in Erbil, Iraq, where he teaches nursing students all aspects of the English language, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Beyond his academic career, Murad is an officially sworn and legal translator, recognized by the government, with 15 years of professional experience in the field. His work spans both academic and non-academic activities, and he is particularly skilled in proofreading, especially for master's and PhD theses. His expertise significantly benefits the college and its students.
In addition to his professional roles, Murad is multilingual. He speaks Kurdish, English, and Turkish fluently, has a working knowledge of Arabic, and is a native speaker of Turkmen. His language skills, coupled with his vast teaching and translation experience, make him a valuable asset to his institution and community.
