I am a pharmacist with experience working at community pharmacies and hospitals. I earned my Masters of Science in Pharmacology from the HMU in 2010. I obtained a PhD in pharmacy from the University of Nottingham in 2016 under the supervision of Lodewijk Dekker and Jonas Emsley, focusing on molecular pharmacology of protein-protein interaction. As of 2019, I am a lecturer in pharmacology at the College of Pharmacy, HMU. Towards the end of 2021, I was promoted to head of the pharmacology and toxicology department
My research area mainly focuses on protein-protein interactions, enzyme kinetics, and pharmacological activity of developmental candidates.
