A workshop about teaching the teachers was organized by the College of Medicine

on 24 November 2017 at Divan hotel, Erbil. The workshop was organized by Dr. Hero Khoshnaw and Tishk Shawes from the UK with the participation of 20 academic staff. The three hours’ workshop was be delivered through formal teaching sessions and group discussions. A list of relevant literature will also provided to encourage further self directed reading and study. Working in a self-directed manner is essential for the long term impact of the workshop, particularly regarding linking theory to practice. Throughout the workshop you may be exposed to new concepts through lectures and guided discussion. You will be encouraged to participate within the sessions and this will be facilitated by the incorporation of group work and discussions. You will be supported to reflect on your clinical experience in a safe and supportive environment.
