A workshop was held on 23 November 2017 at Divan hotel, Erbil on the Communication Skill
from Theory to Clinical Practice. The workshop aimed to educate doctors who can communicate effectively and sensitively with patients, their families, and colleagues irrespective of differences in culture, gender, belief, or stage of life, and prepare participants to teach and practice the skill in medical teaching process. The workshop was facilitated by Prof. Sirwan Kamil Ali, head of the Department of Psychiatry at the College of Medicine. A total of 30 faculty members from the clinical departments participated in the workshop.
