The Sport Unit at Hawler Medical University organized a football championship for the students of all colleges
of the university in February and early March 2021. The final match was played by the College of Medicine and College of Health Sciences team on 2 March 2021. After a 0-0 draw, College of Medicine won by penalties 6-5. In a ceremony attended by the University President, Assistant Professor Dr. Kamaran Younis M. Amin, the vice presidents and deans of the colleges, medals were distributed to the players of the two teams.
