The Bioethics Unit of Hawler Medical University in collaboration with the Department of Education, International Program UNESCO Chair in Bioethics organized a distance
learning training course for the award of international certificate in the principles of bioethics and human rights. The course started on 8 October 2020 up to 8 April 2021 and included weekly sessions and seminars involving 2 hours per week.
More than 30 participants attended the training course including 11 participants from Hawler Medical University. The training course was facilitated by Professor Russel D'Souza and the weekly seminars were presented by prominent international speakers. The weekly seminar involved interactive sessions and useful discussions.
