(The role of pharmacist in the management of hypertension)

At the College of Pharmacy, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the Quality Assurance of the College of Pharmacy in cooperation with TAKVIN organization held a national workshop entitled "New guideline of hypertension managements."

The presenter, Suha Saeed Azeez, Lecturer at Hawler Medical University, provided vital information on the importance role of pharmacist in the management of hypertension. The presenter focused on how the pharmacist can improve the therapeutic outcome by increasing patients adherence to medications.

 Workshop Outcome

At the end of workshop all the participants were familiar with the following points in research reference citation skill:

1. role of pharmacist in the management of hypertension
2. the problem of nonadherence
3. drug therapy management
4. pharmaceutical care plan
5. new WHO recommendation for the management of hypertension
