Smart application for protecting our Children
At the College of Pharmacy, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, the Quality Assurance department of the College of Pharmacy held a national workshop entitled "smart application for protecting our Children." Anjam Hama Abdalla, an assistant lecturer at the college of pharmacy in Hawler Medical University provided vital information on the importance of how to control the screen time of our Children including several methods used to control the electronic devices of our Children. The workshop included applications available for the same purpose and also how to install as well as use the applications.
Workshop Outcome
At the end of workshop all the participants were familiar with the following points in research reference citation skill:
- Opening a new library in EndNote
- Different ways to import a reference from an online database using PubMed
- Creating a custom group and adding references to it
- Finding full texts to download PDFs for references
- Inserting references into a Word document
- Formatting a bibliography and creating your own referencing style

Anjam Hama Abdalla is a lecturer at the College of Pharmacy in Hawler Medical University. He currently works at the department of pharmaceutics and is a member of the examination committee.
