Title: World Diabetes Day 2025 Diabetes across life stages

Summary description in the English Language: The goal of scientific presentation is Diabetes in children is a serious chronic condition primarily represented by two types. Type 1 diabetes, the most common form in children, is an autoimmune disorder where the body destroys its insulin-producing cells, requiring lifelong insulin therapy through injections or a pump. Its onset is often sudden, with key symptoms being extreme thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, and unexplained weight loss. In contrast, Type 2 diabetes, increasingly linked to childhood obesity, occurs when the body becomes resistant to insulin and its onset is more gradual; management focuses initially on lifestyle changes like diet and exercise. Both types demand careful daily monitoring of blood sugar, and recognizing the symptoms early is critical, as Type 1 diabetes can rapidly escalate into a life-threatening emergency without immediate medical care.
