College of Nursing/ Hawler Medical University in Erbil City was the first nursing college established in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in 2001. The College of Nursing is committed to generating knowledge to improve practice and preparing practitioners, educators and researchers who will make a difference. It has a well-earned reputation for graduating nurses who are leaders in society and that have the capacity for high-level critical thinking while caring deeply about the profession and our communities at large.
