Summary description: The International Day of Smoking cessation this year is 31-5-2024 so the theme for this year is protecting children from tobacco industry interference.
The WHO selected this theme to raise the knowledge and awareness of the population worldwide, so we at the college did a workshop on 30-5-2024 because the above date is Friday. On that day we did the scientific events as a workshop to participate teachers in the college and gusts to raise their knowledge and awareness about this health problem because nowadays it has become an epidemic aspect among Kurdish people especially adolescents and school students so in this workshop, we did skills for cessation smoking.
Type of activity: ceremony for International Day of Smoking cessation.
Presenter and practices: Prof.Dr. Kareem and 3 MSc students.
Qualification: Teachers who held Ph.D and MSc and M.Sc students
