In cooperation with the Ministry of Health in the Kurdistan Region, the College of Nursing at Teşik University, the College of Nursing at Nineveh University, and the Nursing and Midwifery Development Center in Erbil, the College of Nursing/Hawler Medical University held its first scientific conference in the conference hall at the Erbil International Hotel for the period from 01/25/2024 until 01/27/2024

Initially, Dr. Vian Affan Naqshbandi delivered the opening speech of the conference and welcomed the guests, and then Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health, Dr. Amir Chali, Advisor to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Radwan, Dean of the College of Nursing, Nineveh University, Dr. Hiwa Banna, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Teşik University, Dr. Eva Saeed, Director of the Nursing and Midwifery Development Center in Erbil, and Dr. Caroline from the Center for Nursing and Midwifery Development in the United States of America gave their words, and the conference was attended by Dr. Nour al-Din Ismail, President of Hewler Medical University and deans of nursing colleges in Kurdistan, with a large number of professors and guests.
