On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the Medical Research Center – Hawler Medical University hosted an important academic seminar titled "Epidemiological Trends and Molecular Characterization of Breast Carcinoma in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq."
The seminar was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Chawshen, who shared insightful data and analysis on the rising trends, risk factors, and molecular aspects of breast cancer within the region. The presentation highlighted significant findings relevant to both public health planning and clinical research, and emphasized the importance of local molecular profiling in understanding disease patterns.
