The first joint symposium of the Social Determinants of Health Research Center (SDH) of the Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences-Iran
with the Center for Research and Education in Women's Health of Hawler Medical University was organized on 7 February 2021. The symposium was modeated by Dr. Bakhtiar Piroozi and included a number of panelists, including Dr. Shole Shahgheibi and Dr. Hamdia Ahmed. Around 100 teaching staff from both universities participated in the symposium.
