Open Workshop on Effective Antibiotic Selection with Susceptibility Guidance

The Medical Research Center, in collaboration with the College of Medicine and the College of Health Sciences, recently hosted a successful open workshop titled "From Test to Treatment: Choosing Effective Antibiotics with Susceptibility Guidance." This event, held on 10th and 11th November 2024, welcomed both academic staff and students for an engaging, hands-on exploration of antibiotic selection practices.

Led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Samira Fattah Hamid, Dr. Amin Aziz Bakr, and Dr. Shler Xafur Rahim, the workshop covered essential aspects of identifying and selecting effective antibiotics based on susceptibility testing. Participants gained insights into best practices that bridge diagnostic results and effective treatment plans, an approach that supports precision in patient care and infection control.

This collaborative initiative reflects the commitment of the Medical Research Center, the College of Medicine, and the College of Health Sciences to advancing knowledge and skill development in critical areas of medical and pharmaceutical science.
