Prof. Dr. Ali A. Al-Dabbagh, President of Hawler Medical University, attended the First Annual Meeting of the Dean with Faculty Members, held at the College of Health Sciences on 1 September 2026. The program began with faculty registration, followed by a welcome address from Prof. Dr. Hamdia M. Ahmed, Dean of the College, and a speech by the University President. The meeting addressed key issues and concerns of the College, academic PowerPoint slide design, the Assessment Committee Report, effective use of smart boards, and the application of Bloom’s Taxonomy in teaching and learning. The program also included a workshop entitled “From Vision to Learning Outcomes: Designing Aligned, Student-Centered Coursebooks for Academic Excellence.” The meeting concluded with an open session for teachers’ suggestions, questions, and concerns. The meeting reflected the College’s commitment to academic quality, effective teaching, continuous improvement, and institutional development.
