14th November, World Diabetes Day
On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, and under the supervision ( Assist. Prof. Dr. Sangar Muhamamd AHMED ) Head of the Public Health Department, the following activities were held to raise awareness and provide valuable information on diabetes prevention and management:
- A seminar on the current situation of diabetes in Kurdistan
- A community screening for random blood sugar testing.
Dr. Dlovan Muhammad, Director General of Health in Erbil, along with several members of our teaching staff, attended the event. The students actively participated in all the activities and gained valuable insights into the importance of awareness and self-education for managing and controlling diabetes.
