On Thursday 7/12/2023 in order to raise awareness among children in Erbil, with the participation of second grade students of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, which consisted of Mr. Isra Diyar, Gashaw Sharif, Daban Yasin, Saya Rizgar, Roshna Bakhtiar, Hawzhin Nihad, Ainda Sabah, Vania Jamil, Omar Hazhar, and in the presence of the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Dr. Rundk Ahmad Hwaiz, in coordination with the Kurdistan General Health Foundation, conducted an awareness campaign for students of Majidi Primary School and Barz Primary School in Erbil.
The campaign focused on food health and how to prevent citizens from foods that are harmful to the body. In another part of the activity, the activists visited the cafeteria of the school and gave instructions on healthy eating for the students.
The activists also conducted anthropometric measurements for students and teachers to ensure their physical health.
