In collaboration with Avyar Organization for environmental awareness, the College of Health Sciences of Hawler Medical University carried out an environmental
awareness campaign from 14 January 2021 to 31 May 2021. Several teaching staff members of the college participated in the campaign through conducting seminars and lectures to the different target, including the staff of the directorate of environment protection, students, and graduates in summer training. The campaign also included interviews and presentations on TV and radio channels. The college staff who participated in the campaign included Prof. Dr. Kafia Mawlood Shareef, Dr. Sangar M. Ahmed, Mr. Haval Abdulkhaleq, and Kewstan Hassan.
