A football championship
was organized for the students of the different colleges of Hawler Medical University in April 2019. The final match was played between the College of Medicine and the College of Health Sciences teams on 7 April 2019. The College of Health Sciences team won 1-0 and was awarded the cup of the championship, while the College of Medicine team attained the second place.
