The Presidency of Hawler Medical University, in coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Government, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research,

the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture and the US Department of State, will hold the "Kurdistan One Health Conference-2024" That will consist of several discussion panels to support the establishment of both offices: Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation and the Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction at the United States Department of State.

The conference will be attended by experts in medicine, biology, human-animal diseases and national security, Kurdistan universities, international experts, higher education institutions, ministries, and relevant parties.
