On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Master’s thesis defense of the postgraduate student (Hawjin Hussein Haider) was held at the College of Dentistry. The thesis is titled:
ASSOCIATION OF TSHR AND TPO GENE POLYMORPHISMS WITH THE PROGNOSIS IN HASHIMOTO'S AND GRAVES' DISEASES: A MOLECULAR STUDY IN THE ERBIL POPULATION.
The research was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ashti Mohammed Aminfrom Hawler Medical University, at our college.
The examination committee consisted of the following members:

2. Prof. Dr. Aryan Rezgar Ganjoo – Hawler Medical University / Member
3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sivan Omar Majid – Salahaddin University / Member
Following a thorough discussion and evaluation, the student successfully defended the thesis, addressing all questions and observations raised by the committee. Consequently, the research was accepted.
