On 7 December 2021, the College of Dentistry organized a workshop on plagiarism and using Turnitin program to check for similarities. The workshop was facilitated

by Assist. Prof. Dr. Nazar Shabil, the university vice president for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies and was attended by around 100 supervisors and postgraduate students. The workshop included the topics of definition of plagiarism, and how to avoid, prevent, and detect plagiarism. The workshop also included hands on training on creating Turnitin account and using it to detect similarities.
