On the Environment International Day, 16 April 2018, the relationship between health and environment was explained for the staff of the Ministry of Municipality of the Kurdistan Regional Government, through a series of seminars during April and May 2018.
The seminars tackled a number of current environmental issues in Iraqi Kurdistan. The impact of these environmental issues on the individual and community health, through the contamination of air, water, food, etc, was explained to the participants. Overall, 420 Director of Municipality, Forest Policemen, Municipality Policemen, and staff of different departments of Erbil Municipality benefited from these seminars.
