On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, Hawler Medical University welcomed a distinguished delegation from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS)
as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic and scientific collaboration between the two institutions.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Arpi Manokiyan, Director of International Affairs Development at TUMS, accompanied by her team. They were received at the Presidency Office by Assist. Prof. Dr. Hawre Mustafa Bakr, President of Hawler Medical University, along with Assist. Prof. Dr. Zhian Dzayi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Karwan Mohammed Amin, Vice President for Student Affairs.
During the meeting, both sides explored potential avenues for academic cooperation and future joint initiatives.
