The College of Nursing at Hawler Medical University organized an academic workshop entitled:

“How to Write a Literature Review: From Reading to Writing Skills”

The workshop was delivered by Assist. Lect. Ahmed Naif and targeted undergraduate students, aiming to enhance their academic writing competencies and research skills.

During the session, students were guided through the essential steps of conducting a literature review, beginning with effective academic reading strategies and progressing to organizing ideas, synthesizing evidence, and developing coherent academic writing. The workshop emphasized critical analysis of sources, proper citation practices, structuring a literature review, and transforming reading materials into well-developed scholarly writing.

The interactive session provided students with practical techniques to strengthen their research foundation and improve the quality of their academic assignments and future graduation projects.

This initiative reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to supporting undergraduate students in developing strong academic and research skills essential for their professional growth.
