College of Pharmacy Holds First Advisory Board Meeting for the Academic Year 2026–2027
The College of Pharmacy at Hawler Medical University held its first Advisory Board meeting for the academic year 2026–2027 on 22 September 2026.
The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and brought together representatives from key academic, professional, healthcare, and community stakeholder groups. Participants included the Head of the Kurdistan Pharmacists Syndicate, a representative of Rizgary Teaching Hospital, the Manager of KMCA, an academic member, an alumni representative, a staff representative, a student representative, and the College’s Quality Assurance representative.
The meeting reviewed the College’s academic programmes, research activities, quality-improvement initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and strategic development priorities. Board members shared their professional perspectives and provided recommendations to support curriculum development, strengthen links with the labour market and healthcare institutions, enhance graduate employability, and promote continuous institutional improvement.
The establishment and activities of the Advisory Board form part of the College’s commitment to effective stakeholder participation and are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Kurdistan Accrediting Association for Education (KAAE) Accreditation Process.
The College of Pharmacy greatly values the contributions of all Advisory Board members and looks forward to continued collaboration in advancing pharmaceutical education, research, professional practice, and community service.
