Title: Corrosive and irritant poisons

Summary description in the English Language: Corrosive and irritant poisons represent two distinct categories of hazardous substances, primarily differing in the severity and depth of the tissue damage they inflict. Corrosive poisons, such as strong acids and alkalis, cause rapid, irreversible chemical burns through processes like coagulation or liquefaction necrosis, leading to deep tissue destruction, potential perforation of organs, and permanent scarring. In contrast, irritant poisons, which include substances like certain heavy metals and organic compounds, provoke a reversible inflammatory response, resulting in surface-level symptoms like pain, redness, vomiting, and diarrhea without typically causing the profound, structural tissue loss characteristic of corrosives. The fundamental distinction lies in the mechanism: corrosives directly and permanently destroy tissue, while irritants incite a temporary, though often painful, reaction.
