The Medical Research Center, Hawler Medical University has successfully concluded a five-day training course on
“Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR): Workflow and Applications” held from January 21 to 29, 2026. The course took place in the Centre’s own laboratory and was led by Assistant Professor Ashti Mohammad Amin Said and Assistant Lecturer Rebwar Jalal Ali.
Participants from multiple academic departments gained practical experience and in-depth understanding of PCR principles and laboratory workflows. Polymerase Chain Reaction is a fundamental molecular biology technique used to amplify specific DNA sequences, enabling detailed genetic study and diagnostics in research and clinical settings.
