Welcom to the Center for Research and Education in Women's Health (CREWH) at Hawler Medical University.
The Center was founded on a simple belief: when women are healthy and informed, families and communities flourish. Yet women in our region still face health challenges that call for serious research, better education, and stronger prevention and this is the work to which our Center is devoted.
We carry out and support research on women's health, from maternal and reproductive health to chronic disease, mental wellbeing, and the prevention of violence against women. We train health professionals and students, run awareness campaigns for the community, and work hand in hand with universities, health directorates, and partner organizations to turn knowledge into practice and policy.
Above all, we believe that an informed woman is an empowered one is able to care for her own health, make confident decisions, and give her best to her family and society.
