POLICY STATEMENT
Hawler Medical University is committed to maintaining a comprehensive, transparent and effective policy management system that supports good governance, accountability, institutional effectiveness and continuous improvement.
Institutional policies shall complement, but shall not contradict, legislation issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Where Ministry regulations exist, University policies shall describe how the University implements those regulations locally, define institutional responsibilities, establish operational processes and assign accountability.
Where no Ministry regulation exists, the University may develop institutional policies to support good governance, quality assurance and operational effectiveness, provided these remain consistent with applicable legislation.
