Hawler Medical University has announced the commencement of postgraduate studies for the study year 2019-2020. Applications for admission at the different colleges of Hawler Medical University and in different specialties are accepted now. Apply online here you need to login into your gmail or hmu email account

Application Process - Details

Step 1 - Online application

Documents required for online application include:

- National ID (كارتی نیشتمانی یان ناسنامه‌ی باری شارستانی و ڕه‌گه‌زنامه‌ی عیراقی)

- Information card

- Passport size photo

- Bachelor degree certificate with marks

- English proficiency test score, if available

- Non-objection letter and employment summary (پوخته‌ی راژه‌), if employed

For PhD applicants, the following documents are also required in addition to the above-mentioned documents;

- MSc degree certificate with marks

- CAD or quality assurance certificate of the last study year (2018-2019) for those having a scientific title

- List of published research papers, if any

All the above documents should be scanned and uploaded during online application. Photos or mobile phone photos of the documents are not acceptable. Limit each document to less than 1 MB.

Step 2 - Application at the university

After completing the online application and submitting it, a copy of the completed application form will be emailed to the applicant. The applicant will need to print the completed form ad sign it. Then, the applicant should visit the Scientific Affairs Department at the presidency of Hawler Medical University and bring the following documents;

- Signed application form - two copies (to be completed online and printed out)

- Original copies of the above-mentioned documents, with two color copies of each

- Payment receipt of 150,000 IQD as application fees (to be paid at the university presidency)

- Pledge form for all applicants (to be completed at the university presidency) به‌ڵێنامه‌

- Pledge form for non-employed (to be completed at the university presidency) به‌ڵێنامه‌

- Copies of the published research papers
