Why German is a difficult language?

German language, Deutsch, is the official language of both Germany and Austria and one of the three official languages of Switzerland. German belongs to the West Germanic group of the Indo-European language family, along with English, Frisian, and Dutch (Netherlandic, Flemish). Germany is the world’s second-largest Exporter and The German economy ranks number One in Europe and number four worldwide. German is the second most commonly used scientific language in the world. 18% of the world’s books are published in German.
This workshop is about defining the important aspects of German as a language and at the same time analysing the different aspects of this language. At the end of this WS you will find out why German is difficult to learn precisely.
