How to Prepare a Manuscript for International Journals
Asst. Prof. Dr Azeez A. Barzinjy
(PhD in Materials Science)
The main purpose of this workshop is to help scientists and students of the sciences in all disciplines to prepare manuscripts that will have a high probability of being accepted for publication and of being completely understood when they are published. Because the requirements of journals vary widely from discipline to discipline, and even within the same discipline, it is not possible to offer recommendations that are universally acceptable. In this workshop, we present certain basic principles that are accepted in most disciplines.
In this training workshop, Dr. Azeez Barzinjy draws on his background as an author, reviewer and editor to give advice on preparing the manuscript (author's view), the evaluation process (reviewer's view) and what there is to dislike or like in a paper (editor's view). This workshop has been already tested by different universities and it needs 8 hours, i.e. 2 hours per 4 weeks. According to the feedback this workshop really helps you to communicate about your work effectively, efficiently, and even enjoyable. Therefore we need 4 week to cover the following parts:
1. How to prepare a good manuscript?
2. The structure and components of a manuscript
3. How to Submit the Manuscript?
4. The Publishing Process
Time: 9:45 AM
