The Financial Aid Office of the College of Pharmacy is committed to providing and coordinating financial assistance for eligible undergraduate students through scholarships, grants, emergency assistance, and other available financial support.
The Office will administer financial aid in a transparent, fair, confidential, accountable, and non-discriminatory manner, in accordance with Hawler Medical University regulations and applicable funding requirements.
- Objectives
The main objectives of the Financial Aid Office are to:
- Provide equitable access to financial assistance for eligible pharmacy students.

- Types of Financial Assistance
The Financial Aid Office may coordinate or administer the following forms of support:
- Scholarships – financial support awarded according to academic, financial, or other approved criteria.
- Grants – non-repayable financial assistance provided through university or external funding.
- Emergency Assistance – short-term support for students experiencing significant unexpected financial difficulties.
- Tuition Support – partial or full assistance with approved educational fees, when funding is available.
- Educational Support – assistance for approved educational materials, training, or other essential academic needs.
- External Scholarships and Sponsorships – opportunities provided by governmental, non-governmental, charitable, professional, or private organizations.
- Eligibility Criteria
Financial aid eligibility shall be determined according to approved criteria, which may include:
- Enrollment as an undergraduate student in the College of Pharmacy.
- Demonstrated financial need, where applicable.
- Academic standing and satisfactory academic progress.
- Compliance with university regulations.
