Department of Prosthodontics

The Prosthodontics Department is a specialized branch of dentistry that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with missing or deficient teeth, oral structures, and maxillofacial tissues. It aims to restore function, comfort, aesthetics, and oral health using artificial replacements.

This department contributes significantly to dental education, research and patient care; the 16 teaching members of this department are actively engaged in research publishing in various national and international journals beside their teaching and training responsibilities.

Postgraduate Students:

According to a well arranged scientific plan annually there are Postgraduate studies including two year High Diploma, Master degree of Science and Doctorate of Philosophy in Prosthodontics.
