Department of periodontology is specialty of dentistry responsible for teaching within discipline of periodontology for both pre doctoral and graduate students. In this department we help our students to become proficient in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth, in addition to maintenance of the health , function, and esthetic of these tissue.
