On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Master’s thesis defense of the postgraduate student (Skala Akram Jalal) was held at the College of Dentistry. The thesis was titled:
"RADIOTHERAPY-INDUCED XEROSTOMIA AND SALIVARY COMPOSITION CHANGES IN CANCER PATIENTS IN CITY"
The research was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Omed Akram Shahab and Asst. Prof. Dr. Dler Qader Galali from Hawler Medical University at our college.
The examination committee consisted of the following members:
1. Prof. Dr. Nadir Mustafa Qadir – Salahaddin University (Chairman)
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Shahen Ali Ahmed – Hawler Medical University (Member)
3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Hazhar Mohammed Hamad – Soran University (Member)
Following a thorough discussion and evaluation of the thesis, the student successfully defended her research and addressed the committee's questions and observations. Consequently, the thesis was approved.
