On Monday, February 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the College of Dentistry hosted the Master’s thesis defense of postgraduate student (Daroon Azad Ahmed), titled:
"Assessment of Predictive Diagnostic Biomarkers in Autoimmune Hypothyroditis: Integrating Immunological and Molecular Approaches."
The thesis was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Hawin Tawfiq Hassan from Hawler Medical University at our college.
The examination committee consisted of the following members:
1. Prof. Dr. Suhaila Nafea Darogha – Salahaddin University (Retired) / Chair
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Rezan Majid Omar – Hawler Medical University / Member
3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarhang Hassan Aziz – Salahaddin University / Member
Following a comprehensive discussion and evaluation of the thesis, the student successfully addressed the committee’s questions and observations, and the research was officially accepted.
