With the attendance of the assistants to the president of Hawler Medical University, *Dr. Hawre Mustafa Bakr, **Dr. Karwan Muhammad Muhammad Amin, and **Professor Dr. Jiyan Dzayi, as well as **Dr. Dashti Bustani, the Dean of the College of Medicine, **Dr. Vian Naqshbandi, the Dean of the College of Nursing, **Dr. Nishwan Kirkhi*, the head of the Hawler Medical University Teachers' Organization, and several other honored guests from the Balisan Valley,
*The College of Dentistry commemorated the 37th anniversary of the Anfal and the genocide of the Kurdish people.*
Under the supervision of *Professor Dr. Bassam Karim Amin*, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, and with the presence of department heads, their deputies, a number of college professors, staff, and beloved students, the ceremony began with a moment of silence to honor the pure souls of the martyrs.
The event started with a speech by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, followed by welcoming the guests and efforts to *document the definition of genocide and its crimes at the international level. Later, **Professor Dr. Diyar Khalid* stirred the emotions of the audience in a unique way, expressing love for the land and homeland. Finally, *Dr. Saeed Tutmei* presented *international evidence defining genocide and war crimes*, sharing his personal experiences, his family’s story, and the tragedy of Tutmei village, along with a documentary presentation.
Additionally, several local figures participated, and student *Danyal Kakayi* performed several musical pieces.
It is worth mentioning that this commemoration was organized by *Hawler Medical University* and held at the *College of Dentistry* in *Dr. Ziyawar Hall* on *Monday, April 14, 2025, at 10:30 AM*.
