Scientific Symposium & Poster Session
The College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University is pleased to announce a scientific symposium entitled “GIS for Safer Environments, Stronger Public Health.” The event will feature distinguished speakers: Dr. Kaiwan K. Fatah from Salahaddin University-Erbil, Dr. Rebin S. Abdullah from Erbil Polytechnic University, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Sangar Muhammad Ahmed, Head of the Public Health Department at HMU. The symposium will highlight the vital role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in promoting environmental safety, strengthening public health practice, and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
