Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Dabbagh, the president of Hawler Medical University, received the head of the universities' region of Nineveh province of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
On Thursday, July 23, 2026, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul-Razzaq Al-Dabagh, president of Hawler Medical University, received Dr. Goran Aziz Kakeyi, head of the Universities Region of Nineveh Province of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the medical associations of Nineveh University, Mosul University, and Hawler Medical University. The mechanisms of admission of students from Mosul to higher education programs of Hawler Medical University and methods of providing support to them were also discussed, as well as emphasizing the development of academic and scientific exchange between Hawler and Mosul universities.
